Requirements

$250 minimum spend on food/drinks from our Deli and store for the party. It may not be used for homeware, alcohol, toys or other grocery items that are not intended to be consumed at the time of the party. ***If more than 12 children the minimum spend increases to $300.

No external food to be brought in except one birthday cake.

$50 non-refundable deposit required to book and secure reservation (non-refundable up to 48 hours beforehand). If you wish to cancel or change your booking time this must be no later than 48 hours before your scheduled day and time. 

Credit card required for tab at Deli for all purchases of food and beverages.

If the minimum amount is not met the difference is to be paid at the end of your party session.

Decorations 

You can bring your own balloons, table cloth, bunting, banners, plates, cups and utensils. Alternatively you can use our recyclable plates, cups and wooden utensils on request. Please note these are brown cardboard throw away ones.

No confetti, party poppers or messy decorations. 

No speakers/music

*Decorations are to be removed and the designated area left as found at the end of your session time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Can we bring our own cake?
Yes, you can bring your own cake, this is part of the package. You may not bring any other outside food on to our premises.

2. Do we need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable $50 deposit is required to confirm your booking. Our terms and conditions must also be signed and returned at the time of booking confirmation.

3. How far in advance do I need to book my party?
Bookings are subject to availability with a minimum of 14 days notice for a booking. If your requested date is not available we will offer you some alternative dates.

4. Are we able to organise a party entertainer to come along?

Yes, you may arrange an entertainer for your party. However, you must let us know in advance and email us through the details. You will be responsible for handling payment and other arrangements with your entertainer.

5. Is there a schedule and timings to adhere to in our allocated 2 hours?

You can decide on the playing and eating time as you wish although our customers often ask for advice on when to do things.

We recommend the following e.g. for a 9.30am - 11.30am party time.

9 - 9.15am - arrive to organise tab, purchase food and set it up, put out any decorations, table cloths in area and greet party guests

9.30am - kids play on the playground

10.00am - children can be seated

10.15am - eating time

11am - Birthday cake

11am - 11.30am - play

6. How do we book our child's birthday party at Boric Food Market?
Enquiries can be made by completing the above form. We require contact information (name, phone number, email address, etc.) when booking a party. Our birthday party team will aim to get back to you to confirm if your booking can go ahead. At which time we will request a $50 deposit. 

7. What if it rains? 
Your reserved party table will be set up under our covered balcony. Should the weather take a turn for the worse we recommend you come prepared with rain coats and gumboots. Whilst covered, our outdoor area is exposed to the elements, and we are unable to guarantee an alternative location.  

8. We will have some infants and young toddlers coming, do they count in the seated numbers.

We understand that young siblings may attend and are too little to eat and sit at a table and are not part of the required numbers (18months and under). We have high chairs you may use.

9. What food can we get from your store for our party?

You are required to purchase ALL party food from our store. Here are some ideas of what you may like to get.

Fruit & dried fruit - grapes, blueberries, apricots, apples

Snacks - popcorn, chips, crackers, dip, hummus, carrots, cucumber

Savoury - From the Deli - sausage rolls, quiches, sandwiches, crossaints

Sweet - cookies like animal biscuits, slices and cake (from the Deli), chocolate, lollies

Ice-Cream & ice-blocks

Coffee/Juice/Smoothies

We can provide a knife for you to cut any food and the cake. You will need to bring your own plates and serving ware.
